Managing Pre-Defined Reseller Configurations

To facilitate reseller accounts management, provider can create a number of pre-defined reseller configurations that later can be easily and quickly assigned to resellers.

Reseller configuration allows setting the number of customer accounts a reseller can have and specify the set of domain plug-ins a reseller is allowed to use.

Reseller configuration can be assigned both during reseller account creation and later, under the General Settings tab within a reseller account properties.

Reseller configurations are created under Account Director > Reseller manager > Reseller Config.

To add a reseller configuration or edit an existing one:

  1. Click the New Reseller Config button or, to edit an existing configuration, click on a reseller configuration name and then click the Edit button.
  2. Adjust a reseller configuration:
    1. Enter a reseller configuration name into the Title field. This is the name you will recognize a configuration and select it when assigning to a reseller account.
    2. Enter the maximal number of accounts a reseller is allowed to have the Maximum number of customer accounts reseller can have field.
    3. To allow a reseller to register own whois servers, check the Allow reseller to have his own whois servers box.
    4. Adjust the domain plug-ins assignment. Reseller will be able to configure the allowed plug-ins with own credentials.

      For each type of plug-is a separate sub-form is provided:

      Allowed Domain Plug-ins - for domain registration plug-ins.

      Allowed Payment Plug-ins - for credit card and bank transfer plug-ins.

      Allowed Anti-Fraud Manager Plug-ins - for anti-fraud plug-ins

      Allowed License Plug-ins - for plug-ins that allow licenses provisioning to customers.

      The allowed set of plug-ins of each type is configured in the same way:
