Container Statuses

The Container current status depends on particular operations performed automatically or manually under Container.

The Table below demonstrates possible Container statuses.

STATUS

Operations within the Parallels Business Automation - Standard

Ordered

Hosting Plan was purchased, Order was generated. Configuration of ordered Container is stored in database. In this case, Container may become "Creating" if the Order was paid, or Administrator manually invoked Container creation process. In the case if an Order was cancelled, the ordered Container will be removed from the list of Containers.

Creating

This Container state occurs after Administrator invokes Container creation process or after appropriate Order was paid. After Container creation is completed the status automatically turns into Stopped (i.e., the virtual server is shut down).

Running

Occurs after Container start (from Stopped state).

Repairing

Special safe status used for Container recovering (editing configuration files, saving critical date , etc.). Container may be brought into Repairing status from Stopped status only. In respect to controls available at the Action Bar, you can only stop or destroy Container in Repairing state. In this case, you have file access only. To bring repairing Container in operational state again, you should stop it first.

Booting

Occurs after Container was started by Administrator (virtual server startup).

Stopping

Occurs after Container was stopped by Administrator. Continues until Container shutdown finishes.

Stopped

Container was stopped (shut down) by Administrator.

Destroying

Occurs after Container was destroyed by Administrator. Continues until Container destroying procedure finishes.

Destroyed

Container was destroyed by Administrator

Off-line

This state occurs in the case if connection with Hardware Node were this Container is hosted is broken.

Migrating

Container is moving from one Hardware node to the other. Lasts until operation completed.
