Allowed Hosts Management
To manage hosts
- Click Main on the navigation pane.
- Click Allowed Hosts Management. The Allowed Hosts Management screen appears.
On this screen you can view the following information about hosts:
- Status is the status of a host. The status can be Activated (A) or Deactivated (D). A deactivated host becomes unavailable for those your Resellers to whom this deactivated host is assigned.
- Range shows whether this host is a range of hosts (+) or a single host (-).
- Host name is a host name.
- IP address is a host IP address.
- Owner is a login of a host owner.
- Resellers is a number of Resellers to whom a host is assigned. If the owner of a host is a Reseller then you see the minus (-) sign in the Resellers column.

If there are more than 6 hosts in the hosts list, the option Hosts per page 10, 15, 20, All will be displayed at the bottom of the Allowed Hosts Management screen. You can select 10, 15, 20 or all hosts to be displayed per page by clicking either of these numbers.
- To find a host by name, enter the host name in the Host name field and click Search.
- To see the list of all allowed hosts, click Show All Hosts.
- To delete a host, select the host name and click Delete.
- To activate or deactivate a host, select the host name and click Activate or Deactivate. Users from inactive hosts cannot log in to SiteBuilder.
- To retrieve IPs, select the host whose IP you want to retrieve and click Retrieve IPs. Retrieving IPs function serves for getting IP addresses from the alphanumeric names of servers if they are unknown to the system yet.
To add a new allowed host
- Click Add New Host.
Note: Your license limits the maximum number of allowed hosts.
If you have not exceeded your limit, the form for adding hosts appears.
- On the General tab, do the following:
- Enter a new host name in the Host field.
- Select the Active check box if you want to make this host active.
Note: When you are adding a new host, the List of Assigned Resellers tab is inactive. To make this tab active, you must add a Reseller first. Information about adding Resellers you can find in the Resellers Management section, later in this guide.
- Click Apply. The newly added host name appears in the Host name column on the Allowed Hosts Management main screen.
To assign a host to a Reseller, or remove a host from a Reseller
- Click a host name in the Host Name column.
- Click the List of Assigned Resellers tab.

- Select the check box beside a Reseller and click Add Reseller to List or Remove Reseller from List.
- Click Apply.
If the available SiteBuilder hosts have one IP range, you can add hosts range.
To add a hosts range
- Click Add Range.

Example: The following hosts are included in the list of available hosts: "127.0.0.1, 127.0.0.2, 127.0.0.3". And according to Reseller's license agreement he or she is allowed to have three hosts. Enter "127.0.0.1" in the Host IP - Beginning of Range line and "127.0.0.3" in the Host IP - End of Range line.
- On the General tab, do the following:
- Enter the first host IP in the Host IP - Beginning of Range field.
- Enter the last host IP in the Host IP - End of Range line.
- Select the Active check box if you want to make this host IPs active.
- Click Apply. The newly added hosts range name appears in the Host name column on the Allowed Hosts Management main screen.
To assign a Reseller to a hosts range, or to remove a Reseller from a hosts range
- Click a hosts range name in the Host Name column.
- Click the List of Assigned Resellers tab.
- Select the check box beside a Reseller and click Add Reseller to List or Remove Reseller from List.
- Click Apply.
